What is the Difference ?

Industry Standard -       cleue  cases and power supplies are industry standard protecting your investment and allowing future upgrades with ANY industry standard components. The power supplies exceed the standards of Intel and AMD and have sufficient wattage to power additional hard drives, CD Roms and similar devices.

Quality Components-    cleue only uses quality components from major manufacturers. Mainboards are from Intel and ASUS, CPUs from Intel and AMD, video from ATI (manufactured by ATI) Asus, and Visiontek, hard drives from Western Digital & Seagate, CD Roms from TEAC, ASUS & Plextor, Monitors from NEC, keyboards and mice from Microsoft and Logitech, and Speakers from Altec Lansing, Creative and Cyber Acoustics.

Warranty -                     Components have a 3-year warranty which is passed to the customer.

Built for Speed -            The Motherboard,  Processor and Memory are matched at the highest recommended bus speeds. DDR3 ram is utilized in our gaming machines, and Quad core processors are available on any of our machines.

Dependability -             Unlike the brand name failure rate of up to 95% in 3 years, cleue  systems historically have had failure rates of under 4 %.

Real Software -              cleue  computers come with a true copy of Windows not a restore CD, (if you even get one of those!) and a full version of Norton AntiVirus (not a trial). cleue  doesn’t “load” up it’s machines with un-necessary trial versions of software.

No Razzle-Dazzle -        Two smaller hard drives are not “raided” into a large one, compromising your data, and Memory is typically one large piece, not multiple smaller ones, limiting your upgrade capability.

(It was a simple task, go to Best Buy and find a system comparable to our entry level cleue Pawn system. Unfortunately, they don’t sell anything that meets the basic specifications of our system, but we picked the closest. We also went to Dell’s web site and did the same.)

In summary, it really doesn’t cost much more to purchase quality. The eMachine is much slower and you can’t get more that a 2-year warranty (guess they know something about failure rates?). To get similar quality from Dell means you are going to pay for it!
